Karla Bogard was just about the kindest, most loving and gracious person we have ever met. This is not our unique opinion. Everyone who knew her would tell you the same. When she joined our gallery, we were not looking for any more contemporary artists. But, when we met Karla and saw the passion that she put into her work, we made a place for her in our gallery and in our hearts.

She lit up our gallery with her smile, even while she was in going through a third regime of treatment for a cancer that she had valiantly battled for eight years.

This precious friend and talented artist passed away December 15, 2007 and we will miss her special talent and the faith and grace with which she carried herself. We know certainly that she is in heaven.
